If you all want a laugh....go and read their forum. Talk about bed wetting and melt down, makes this place look positive and normal. They also seem to think they have some god given right to auto promotion. They really are thick, 12 fingered self opinionated morons, all of them

Wrath is magnificent reading. Who knew that being top six championship after multiple promotion seasons would be so painful. Fk, and i can’t stress this enough, all of them.
Both teams look incredibly average despite this being a 3rd versus 5th contest
How poor is the Championship this season?
Blackburn are 3rd and have lost 10 of their 23 matches. They won 2-0 with only 3 shots on target and 39% possession. If that goes any way to answering your question.
Was surprised he didn't go before the international break but this limp return from it at home must make it very close to the end. I suppose the two things that help him are their reluctance to pay him off and who they might be able to afford to bring in. The weight of expectation while cutting their cloth is not going to be easy to attract many decent candidates.

I know I should have learnt to spread the love by now, and to live and let live, but I still struggle to watch any tv coverage of Norwich without looking at their fans with a sense of disgust, it's wrong but there you have it. As a penance I would just like to wish every last one of them a happy holiday.

Their main press guy who writes for the Athletic, Michael Bailey, said the club has no money to spend to bring people in and it sounds like, financially, they are heading for a dire situation if they don't go up.
I know there was covid and them wasting money on awful flops in the Prem, but how have they squandered all that promotion and parachute money over the last decade? The stadium is virtually the same as it was then too

But ignore the fans views for a moment, why would the club sack him ? They're still in the promotion race, a new manager isnt going to wave a magic wand and suddenly make the same squad unbeatable.
We might think the guy is of the McCarthy school of football but I cant see what else he is supposed to do in the situation.

Last time I looked at their published accounts they were spending more than they had coming in, be that on player wages or just the 'we're a premier league club so everything magically costs more' aspect.
Didnt they have like 30 people working in their ticket office when they were applying to get the tax payers to pay their wages during Covid?
Fundamentally they budget on premiership levels of cash coming in and can just about cope with parachute payments covering a successful promotion campaign.
