Yes of course. What do you expect? This is Ipswich.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Oh god, this sounds a risk!

Odd though that he's played so little, guess he's been on the bench a lot whilst out on loan.

RIP Sir Bobby

Doesn't seem to have any recent injury problems.

Everton always seem to have really old (mid 20's) players in their 'ressies' compared to other teams..

Being a prem youth he was in and around the Everton first team but never good enough to kick on and ended up going on loan later than expected are my thoughts.

Should think the medical will be quite stringent, given what happened with a couple of Summer signings...

Was out for several months while at Sunderland on loan , his return was around the same time as Neil took them on their promotion run.

Just regular Everton Academy weirdness, I think?

2017-18 Breakthrough season
2018-19 Full season of PL2 football
2019-20 League One loan (Burton), in 20/35 matchday squads
2020-21 Full season of PL2 football
2021-22 League One loan (Sunderland), in 23/46 matchday squads
2022-23 Championship loan (Wigan), in 23/24 matchday squads

Seemingly had a couple of minor injuries in 2019-20, plus a lengthier absence in 2021-22, but been fully fit in his other 3 seasons, just happens that two of them Everton didn't have him playing senior football for whatever reason.

If it makes you feel better he has played 75 pro games not 60.

To add to this I saw a Sunderland fan say they rushed him back from an injury which made it worse.

Before we signed Leif and gave him a regular slot Broadhead at that age had played more so it's just the way it goes with younger players at Prem cubs sometimes. A couple of injuries at Sunderland seem to have labelled him something he isn't really (or certainly no major proof). He's been fit all season.

I make you right. He is 24 until just before the end of the season. He would have the opportunity to play another 14+ matches for us before he is 25.

He has made 22 Championship appearances this season alone.

He has actually made 78 first team appearances rather than 60. This includes a Premier League match, 2 League 1 play-off matches and scoring goals against Bournemouth and Arsenal first teams.

At the same age, Luke Garbutt had made 103 appearances.

I'm sure I heard on the ManU / Everton commentary that Everton have players who have been there under 7 different managers

Wonder if they'll have broken even on Broadhead, wages versus loan fees and transfer fee?
