Rubbish wasn't it. The suffragettes attempted to burn the place down. The protesters of today are cra@p.

....managed to get onto court 18 twice today.

They threw a Wimbledon jigsaw puzzle onto the court.

Probably had too many pieces for them.

They should learn from the true professionals in the MCC. Kicking up a hoo-ha and not getting your collar felt by the plod - that's the way to do it.

Fortunate for them that they kept it down to a hoo-ha. Had they gone full-on broo-ha-ha they could have been in a world of sh1t

I paraphrase RimfordBlue who asked

"Would you still accept Just Stop Oil's protest if it was at a sporting event you enjoyed"

I am a massive Tennis fan and whilst I found today's stoppages annoying, I applaud the cause all the same.

I note that they've been charged with criminal damage alongside the trespass.

Did they actually damage anything? Or is this a case of the police throwing anything they can at them?

A very 'Wimbledon' protest! Just pick up the confetti and jigsaw bits and carry on. Powder would have made a longer delay. I hope someone found the corners..

My daughter has just joined Stop Oil.

She isn’t bothered by what they are protesting about, but thinks it’s the best chance of her getting Taylor Swift tickets.

Just Stop Oil protesters wearing man-made clothing and footwear - I wonder what resource we use to create those?…

I was going to catch up on a few programmes on the iPlayer at about ten o'clock yesterday evening but got distracted by the prompt for the Andy Murray game, that was a few minutes of high drama worth watching. Think I will be watching the fourth set at three (or whenever) this afternoon, Wimbledon 2023 just got very interesting.

I tuned in just at the end of the first set, then that was me for the next 2 hours. Great game, yes must see the rest of it later.
