...on the Euston Road. Old Bill seem a bit unsure what to do. Some very angry folk taking it out on their car horns. All rather amusing, which I suppose isn't the intention - my laissez-faire attitude towards the wanton destruction of our planet is very much intact. Nice and sunny day.

My daughter has spent the last 24 hours wearing an orange “Just Stop Oil” T Shirt as an experiment to gage the reaction she receives from other people.

So far she has been spat at, kicked and verbally abused. God knows what sort of reaction she will receive when she actually leaves our house.

There is a tube strike today, so not likely to win many hearts and minds inconveniencing people on the roads who likely didn’t want to be in the first place.

They seemed to be following me around this week...stopped the traffic by the Thames near Temple station on Friday morning, and earlier in the week again on the Euston Road near Baker Street; surprised they waved me through on my bike as I haven't degreased it for a few weeks.

The Suffragettes of our age. I take my hat off to them - far too many of our species seem oblivious to the existential danger we're in.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
