I'm going for Gareth Ainsworth.

The question should be who will be the second Championship manager to get the sack.

I must say that playing both Chair and Dozzell in midfield together seemed highly risky.

3-0 now.

Ainsworth, definitely.

He’ll be back at Wycombe by Christmas.

Just playing Dozzell is a huge risk.

Is it possible for a manager to be sacked during a game?

Well it's going about as well for him as many observers at and outside QPR thought it might.

Yes it is a bit risky, but it does allow Andre to take the weight of his feet playing with Chair. I assume Andre is a sitting midfielder.

I was at the AFC Wimbledon v QPR friendly a few weeks back; think the main reason it was arranged is because Gareth Ainsworth's band is on the Cherry Red Records label (AFC Wimbledon's sponsors) Even got the club to play a couple of tracks from their new album over the PA at half-time

Even before the customary 2nd half flood of substitutes, QPR looked like a bunch of players that had been thrown together for the match. Dozzell played 70 minutes and looked like none of his teammates wanted to give him the ball; no idea how he's ended up as a 4 - highlights his weaknesses rather than plays to his strengths. Glimpses of decent players in the squad, but get the impression if they score a goal or string a decent move together that'll be more down to luck or complacent opposition than organisation. Ainsworth's racked up the 12 game total that was managed by Critchley now; will soon see whether the owners have found some patience from somewhere.

Had to laugh when I saw Ainsworth moaning about referees being asked to add on a load of additional time this season and seemed to take pride in his Wycombe being "kings of time management".

I agree entirely about Dozzell's position. He doesn't have the strength or tackling ability to play deep and I have seen no suggestion of those being improved at all. I would have thought he would be far better in a 10 role with ball winners behind him.

Absolutely - was getting bullied by League Two opposition off the ball; on the few occasions he did get on the ball, he was managing to build attacks (couple of passes that no-one else on the pitch that day would have spotted or executed), but really needs to be doing that further up the pitch.

Bizarrely some Sunderland fans think Mogga is a likely exit on 16:35 - Aug 5 with 1923 viewsunstableblue

I know we’re not allowed to look at, or reference, other fan forums

But there is a thread of the Sunderland forum with many fans thinking he won’t make it to Christmas.

More due to a lack of alignment to club ownership and sporting direction, and Mogga saying whatever he likes

Did you see his press conference yesterday? He seemed to me to have the air of a man who doesn't really care if he's a football manager or not.

Andre Dozzell hit the bar in the second half today.

Wonder if he'll play the whole match.

Ainsworth must like him, most of QPR don't.

He has to make this work, or the only way is down for both player and Club.

It’s a strange one. By achieving what he did last season he’s almost made it harder for himself. I get the impression on the RTG Sunderland forum of mixed views towards him.

There’s the good ole uncle Tone got us playing good football element then there’s the boring old duffer past it brigade. If they don’t start well, given the club from the outside doesn’t look to all be pulling in the same direction Wednesday style, I can see them shipping him out by Christmas.

The Middlesbrough connection doesn’t help.

I thought his best spell in a Town shirt was playing as a deep lying midfielder at the start of the 2020-21 season, but he did have ball-winners in front of him as you say.

Not a surprise he's struggling though. He's the least Gareth Ainsworth player out there.
