I had a look at the highlights from last night's game on youtube this morning and was immediately struck with just how many Indonesian fans we now have following the club obviously primarily because of Elkan Baggott.
I don't know much about Indonesia apart from the fact it has circa 280 million people living there. I do really, really hope that we have at least an outlet there because if we don't i feel we are really, really missing a trick. I think we could sell a lot of town shirts with Baggott on the back!
Spurs sell 4800 shirts a month directly to South Korea - im not suggesting we are as big as Spurs or have a player of Son's ability - and he is South Koreas biggest megastar. I wonder if its like a parallel universe for Elkan when he goes to play for the national team as opposed to being a youngster on the edges of the town squad?
Anyway, there's got to be a financial opportunity for the ITFC commercial team. Up the farkin town. Do people feel Elkan can push for at least a squad place which means Kieran doesnt need to bring in another centre half or does he need another loan in div 1, or even the championship? I think KM is having a really good look at him or he would be loaned out already. |  |

There was a bit in the youtube stream of the Leipzig match where the link had clearly circulated around Indonesian social media as the comments suddenly were all Baggott themed.
I think he's still a way off the level of regular performance where we could monetise that properly but if, say, Wolfy moves on a in a couple of years and EB continues to develop to step into that place then it's a definite possibility. |  |

Wow! I didn't know that, he IS a megastar already! Do you think we should keep him at the club this year or loan him out? At his age he wouldn't count in the squad would he as an under21 leaving us another space or have i got that wrong? | |

Maybe another loan than Steve, obviously regular playing time really important so probably league 1 ( we can then loan him to a championship club next year when we're in the prem ;0) ) | |

A 25 man squad and Edmundson perhaps needing to be managed, there is value is him staying. You feel he needs another loan, maybe to a Wycombe or Lincoln to help him step up. |  | | |

Yeah, i think KM is still weighing it up. Be nice to keep him, but better for his development for him to be getting regular games if hes not going to get past Woolfy and burg, so maybe we'll only loan him if we get in a centre half before the window shuts but with a recall clause. | |

Unless we get in a new and primarily left-sided CB then I think we need Baggott.
Edmundson is a better defender at the moment and a shoo-in if Woolfenden is out but really not convinced he’ll help us at LCB given the demands we put on defenders to move the ball out from the back. He’s never really looked that comfortable or effective on his wrong side. |  |

Indonesia's average salary is around 1/10th that of the UK so I'm not sure how big a market there is for splashing out £50+ on a single piece of clothing. |  | | |
