Are Sky watching a different game?? Also we almost kicked into beast mode second 20:38 - Dec 12 with 2415 viewsunstableblue

… half

The Sky commentators are waxing lyrical about Watford players, but I think we’ve had the better of it, and Watford defence has struggled at times

I have to say about 35mins in we started to play with that fierce head down pomp of the end of last season.. when we unplayable… but then Watford came back into it.. bad the ball around our box

Harness and Axel stand outs for me

Agreed - it has been winding my up the way they have wanged on about how impressive Watford have been, yet we've created the better openings.

The bloke said early doors that Town's aim was to stay in the Championship and therefore our season is surpassing all expectations. Right conclusion, wrong reasoning. You'd have thought they'd do a little more research if they don't know much about a club they're commentating on. Like talk to local journos, etc. That's what old school/good journalists have always done, and have a network of contacts with insider/local knowledge.

It was bizarre. First time he said it they had literally done nothing all game.

The narrative from all the Sky commentators this season has been similar.

"Plucky Ipswich"
"McKenna attracting the attention of bigger clubs"
"Can't keep collecting points at this rate"
"Would have been looking to stay in the Championship"
"yet they have found themselves in the promotion places"

Awful stuff, with nigh on zero research. The amount of times they confuse Morsy with Mass is laughable.

Woeful isn't it? Like they somehow manage to have no knowledge at all about our team.

Yeah, but Watford have spend 6 of the last 8 seasons in the PL, so they must be a massive club, or something, and we're just here to make up the numbers.

Let them all carry on belittling us, right up to the end of the season, maybe they'll change their tune then.

They haven't got time to do the research. It's all about quantity and changing it up each hour in the 24/7 news conveyor belt.

It's sh*t and I don't know why* we put up with it and buy it.

What a second half - played at a million miles an hour, end to end. Possibly one of the most entertaining this season.

Do we need 3 more points to guarantee survival? be nice to do that Saturday! A chorus of 'We are staying up' at the end, just to wind up Sky!

50 points is usually enough, so we should be safe.

The first 10mins of that second half Watford were the better team and putting the pressure on, we seemed a bit slow out of the blocks after half time. Thought the commentary wasn’t bad throughout.

I agree, thought it was ok. Light years better than when they have Hinchcliffe - which is a low bar I’ll admit

Must admit given how we are 'over achieving' etc... I though the Watford going toe to toe with Ipswich comment in the second half, one to chuckle about.

On a different nite, who'd they give motm to? I missed that as quickly switched over to Sunderland
