I am still disappointed we didn’t get the three points we deserved. But it happens. The reality is seven points from ten in the three game week, 13 from 15 since the WBA loss. Of those, Norwich and Watford are parachute teams, M’boro and Coventry made the play offs and Millwall came close last season.
I am still amazed at the pitiful response of their players and supporters at the end of the game after scraping a draw. Embarrassing. Real little clubs away in the FA Cup stuff. Our Cup Final yesterday? Their response tells a different story, even if you ignore us selling out our home seats every game.
It just showed me just how far we have come from literally nowhere in the past 2.5 years. I looked around the ground at kick off and remembered what it was like during the last period we played them. Lifeless basically. Hoping for wins, scratching results, club happy with mediocrity. Not now.
Ok we were not at our best yesterday and the game got away from us a bit, but we are a smashing team. When going forward we look lethal and able to cut teams up in the blink of an eye. They have grit and a never say die attitude too. If I walk away from a game and I’ve seen the team give 100% I can live with any result really. But this team offers a heck of a lot more than that.
So let Norwich enjoy the crumb from our table, let them celebrate the greatest near victory since whenever. I bet each and every one of them would swap our team for theirs in a heartbeat. Norwich have a touch of the declining ragbag about them, but then who cares. Not me.

Annoyed we didn't get the 3 point we clearly deserved.
Annoyed we haven't got that monkey off our back yet.
Happy that we are currently clearly the better footballing team and heading in the right direction.
Happy that they (unless they have 4 or 5 super players currently out injured) are a very poor side who will be lucky to make top 6
Happy that Morsy didn't get booked
Happy that Leeds and Soton are 10 points behind and we will be top 2 at Christmas
Slight nagging doubt that we will have a few more games like that over the season, where luck deserts us, or poor finishing lets us down...but I'll get over it if we win the next 2. |  |

I feel pretty much the same, we should have won it but I also feel that we are far from the finished article at the moment. Broadhead was great at making four wonderful opportunities but only sunk one of them, should he be dropped ? Of course not, he was arguably our best player on the day and is getting back to the form he had earlier in the season and last season. McKenna looked neither happy nor downcast on the touchline, he knows there is serious preparation ahead for the next two games. As ever, it is going to be fascinating to see what he comes up with in his starting elevens. |  |

If we'd finished roughly the same ratio of chances as them we'd have won 4/-2 .. if they'd finished roughly the same as us we win 2-0/1.... im disappointed we didn't win but everything KM said about the game was true(as always) if we continue to out chance opposition we will not lose very often.
One thing is certain, that was a derby for sure but we never lost our heads and apart from the game at West Brom that has allowed us to control just about every game we have played this calendar year.

Remaining cool & assured to achieve clinical finishing is obvs harder in the raucous, pumped up, tense atmos of a derby, and most of our squad are unused to those situations.
Must be quite an acquired art to learn to relax sufficiently for tension not to transmit to your brain & striking muscles. I keep thinking of the old horseriders' saying "riders' tension is transmitted to the horse through the reins"! | |

I enjoyed it. Great to have the proper derbies back rather than the mismatch that it had been.
