Morsy, so important to the whole way we play.
I thought it was incredibly marginal between him and Chaplin last year with both more than deserving of the award but went for Chaplin in the end. This year Morsy is out on his own, to such an extent that Leif, after an excellent season, will probably be a distant second. |  |

Davis for me. The kid has broken the record for assists by a defender in a Championship season and he's absolutely key to how we play. It wasn't as easy pick, Morsy has also been excellent as has Woolf and, until recently, Chappers. But for me, Davis has been the closest we've had to a standout player. |  |
