I think it’s fine. I’ll go against the flow here and say I’m not so keen on the away kit - but again I need to see it ‘for real’.
All in all, they’re fine. I always dread what they’re going to come up with. We’ve had some shockers over the years, not least that 95/97 fade affair, the relegation kit (18/19) with the blue shorts and Magical Vegas and that dreadful one with the white sash effect going through it (05/07).
Of the away ones, the standout shocker is the 95/96 green and brown thing.

It does look like the blue neck and collar are much darker than in the professional shots… is that the case?

I think it was one of those, oh is that it, when you first see it, and then you look a bit longer and notice the detail thats gone into it and the stripes actually do segueway into the badge shield and umbro logo correctly.
when Adidas last did a version of the pinstripe kit only couple seasons back the badge didnt align with any stripes, which was annoying once youd spotted it, even Mitre managed that.
I think it will grow on people, clearly hasnt dampened any enthusiasm to buy if people are still queuing at Planet Blue for it. | | | |

The home shirt is smart and I will be getting one. The away shirt for me should always be orange. I love the links to our Dutch past and would have orange as our second choice and white as our third. Just my preference, that's all. |  |

well spotted..yes the neck and collar are darker..and as for sizing…I’d recommend actually trying them on before purchasing…..the home shirt fitted perfectly but the first away one I tried on ‘drowned’ me…tried another one and it fitted well..I reckon the first one I tried on was two sizes to big despite the label saying otherwise…oh yeah…and I may be in the minority but I don’t mind the red infill in the umbro logo… [Post edited 7 Jul 2024 21:15]
