It's mega frustrating how much football (and other) news is still primarily on twitter.
I've deleted my account as it's become a bit of a cesspit and Elon Musk is an idiot, but feel I miss out on a lot of interesting transfer info until I get it second hand from somewhere else.
Obviously a lot of the stuff on there is still rubbish but I haven't really replaced it with anything similar as a one stop shop for current affairs. |  | | |  |

Yes - I removed the app from my mobile devices for the same reason - the cesspit of society allowed to spout whatever hateful rhetoric they want. I sat there oine day thinking why am I letting someone I don't know wind me up and make me angry so I just deleted them.
Each to their own I know, and it is my personal reaction to the bile I read but I do now miss out on some of the more useful updates and news - but was worth it.

As someone still very much using X, one of the worst things since Elon's changes, is the amount of blue-tick/engagement farming you get now in reply to any prominent post. I like to browse replies to Town news for example, but there's a lot of scrolling through crap before you read anything sensible. |  |

This exactly. If you use the following section only it’s pretty much content you want. Avoid the comments section also and it’s a fairly decent app. Start scrolling on the “for you” section though and you’ll be succumed with the sorts of trolling crap some posts refer to. X is about how the user users it. |  |
