Basket case of a club. Imagine what Kieran could do with those players...

What could he even mean 'if all goes to plan in internal talks' - how could it not if it's internal talks? Some people want to keep him?

Good job CIL isn't on here any more, she'd have come up with some conspiracy theory about how Axel practically slicing off his thumb + our lack of wins are all part of a deep plot to ensure KM stays with us!

Maybe it's just as well we've had a ropey start, should keep KM out of their plans!

In the grand scheme of things, it could be great timing for us personally that they've sacked him. Can't imagine McKenna leaving until at least the end of this season.

Yes don't see KM being seen as a viable alternative for ManU now. However, I think Brentford will definitely show an interest in him should Frank leave. I would imagine Frank will be on United's list as well.

This was so predictable. When they had their board meeting after the end of last season it was obvious then what they'd get if they stuck with ten Hag. That club seems to be run by imbeciles these days (for a good number of years in fact).

Might as well have burnt a few million quid, ridiculous.

The only Muff in Town.

I think Tuchel was favourite in the summer, but that has obviously passed them by now.

I wonder if this is the job Graham Potter has been waiting for?

Watched them yesterday and actually thought they looked really good in the first half, should’ve gone in 3 or 4 up. Give so much credit to West Ham manager as he made 2 changes at half time and West Ham come out looking a different side. (I wish McKenna would make changes earlier).

Hopefully whoever they get in takes a while to settle and we can get something against them in a few weeks.

Ultimately, Man Utd shouldn’t be 14th in the league and their record in Europe over the last year is shocking too, so a change was inevitable. I wonder whether they will be able to attract someone like Xavi?

McKenna 12/1 for those interested.

Worth a fiver.

I think it’ll be Thomas Frank.

Has cost them a fair bit I reckon.

I’m glad he stayed in the summer, otherwise we may have lost McKenna, don’t think there’s a chance it happens now.

If a decent club does come in for McKenna now, then I suspect he'll go. Clearly wavered in the summer, probably fearing that we'd struggle, but now knows that to be the case.

That's not meant as a criticism of McKenna at all, just a realistic assessment.

I wouldn't hold it against KM if he left for Man Utd., I'd actually be happy for him, except I don't think you can blame all the managers that failed for their different reasons without addressing the structure at the club and I don't think KM is going to be able to fix that. KM needed MA to be as successful as he has been here.

Or are Utd. going to do the double swoop and take KM and MA?
Utd. need a MA more than they need a new manager.

It's very unlikely that he will be successful, unless he gets the proper backing of a competent management structure.
