Don't be too downbeat 21:39 - Dec 3 with 1776 views | Hackneyblueboy | Yes it's rubbish losing most weeks but you can't fault the players effort tonight, nor the management. The gulf in class is huge and we've done remarkably well to come as far as we can in such a short time. The players need a lift. Big game on Saturday, less enjoy it. There shouldn't be any pressure on us. Less than 3 years ago we were struggling to beat the likes of Wycombe!

Selection Clarke doesn't compliment davis. Started in both games we've lost. Tuanzebe played in both spurs and utd games. Enabled us to be more of a threat on the right as he was rock solid. Wasn't there for Everton game nor tonight's.

Don't understand your point. Reads like you're suggesting KM should have selected an injured player instead of Clarke.

No. We had szmodics who could have played instead of clarke. On the right we could have gone johnson or even oshea with Wolfenden rcb and gone 3 at the back etc etc. Clarke and Burns together on the right isn't a scary thought for any prem side and if we played anyone other than palace tonight that right side takes a hammering. Burns fitness is way below par which isn't his fault and clarke H wasn't the best at champ level let alone this one.

When he starts winning games I'll gladly applaud him. Until then he's poorly selecting the lineups and will be critiqued as any other manager would be at any other club.

Spurs and the Mancs came to play and press forward, leaving space. Palace sat 11 behind the ball much of the time.

Tbf my thoughts are that we always seemed to struggle against the more defensively minded L1 teams until we were so stacked player wise that it didn't matter. In the Championship I feel these same style teams didn't really show us the same respect, so came at us to our benefit, We struggled against the teams that were most similar to what we are facing now i.e. West Brom.

Don't know why you're relieved. I don't select the team. But it's cool to blindly support a manager who's selecting in the prem may I add a winger who struggled in the champ let alone this level whilst being unfit. Selecting a cb to come straight back in, in place of someone who's done no wrong and shown the exact same level of performances as the one he's been replaced by. Benching and not using a player who scored 28 goals last season Continuing to play a lw in a role that's new to him and not suitable to his game in any way and therefore killing the creativity of the lb who has the most assists from a lb but also the most key passes in our side. Continuing the refusal to bring off a midfielder who spent most of the 2nd half going backwards whilst subbing out best midfielder off after 60 minutes. Bringing on a l2 unfit striker because you spent the window chasing the wrong striker Using a rb who struggled to contain champ players let alone prem ones who again was all over the shop positional and who can't pass the ball I'm grateful for what he's done the last couple of seasons and if we were discussing those seasons then it's a different tone. But we are where we are and 14 games in and he's won 1 game. 0 home games. Unable to beat any of our relegation rivals. Credit in the bank? For sure. Lots of it. But for a 5 mill contract. He's pssing it up the wall.

You really value your own analysis too highly. Morsy played well this evening, you seemed to have switched your Burns persecution complex to him. Clarke did OK Sure you have written that Greaves is the better player and should play.. It's common knowledge that Cajuste isn't fit enough for 90 mins Your positioning of yourself as some kind of expert is based on what? How many coaching badges do you have? At what level? At least you admit to knowing nothing about Politics. Your enthusiasm for slagging off our players and manager is tedious at best

I'd like to know what posts you've seen from me about morsy to come up with that. I felt he did a job defensively I said that earlier. He did however spend the rest of the game going backwards. Greaves I do see as the better passer yes, was surprised however that this was the game he came in for when it was an important fixture imo rather than tinkering with it. BTW. And I know it pains you. But I'm not saying I'm an expert. I'm just sharing my views on KMs current selections. No different to anyone else and no different to you when you say.... had a good game. Its your opinion these are mine. I've spent majority of this season being positive about our players. Defending fitness levels over performances. But I'm allowed to show frustration following another loss to a relegation rival where we managed two shots on target in 90 minutes at home. I'll be over it in the morning. And we look forward to Sunday.
