I like the boy Cajuste and he’s certainly got something about him. Thought the way he carried the ball at times last season and ‘broke the lines’ from deep was impressive, and something we need more of. Downes knows his way around the championship though and has demonstrated more physical robustness. Think we would see our fair share of yellow cards with a Downes / Morsy partnership in there. |  | | |

Don't know what the record for yellow cards from a midfield partnership is but pretty confident Downes and Morsy would break it comfortably.
Greedy and not in the spirit of the OP but think we do need players that fit both of their profiles if not them themselves. A good variety in there of proper defensive generals and more progressive midfielders. |  |

Yeah, and I don't think the OP was suggesting only one midfield signing is enough, but we need at least two very capable signings in there and either Taylor/a third signing to make four options. |  |
