With so many fan favourites leaving over the summer, which of the new signings this window do you think will take over that mantle?

My hunch is Egeli as I think he will show his class in the Championship, score lots of goals and from what I’ve seen of him, seems a really nice, humble lad.

My fear is that if we don’t get promoted this season, he will catch the attention of a PL team and so we might lose him next summer.

Poll: Compared to the 23/24 squad how would you rate the current squad (without Omari)

Egeli perhaps.

Nunez if he starts well. If he doesn’t he’ll become a massive scapegoat

Nunez seems so delighted to be here having left Norwich (who wouldn't be) and shown siginificant courage to have done so. I'm looking forward to seeing some South American flair and I think we will love him.

I'm desperate for either Jack Clarke or Jaden to turn it around from where they currently are and become fan favourites.

I enjoyed Azons cameo, think if he gets significant game time and manages to get off the mark quite early he could become a favourite.

Philogene. I think he'll come very good this season, double figures by way of goals and will be a big player for us. He's got too much ability not to IMO, but we need to get the ball to him quicker and in the areas where he can hurt teams.

I think if Clarke sorts it out he'll become a real favourite. I'm not so sure on Jaden - he's scored a few for us now in various games but I'm yet to see any real emotion from him. When players aren't as obviously big personalities it's harder for the emotion to go the other way.

I really hope we can connect with these players like we have the last bunch. I was thinking about it last night; a big part of it for me is social media. We saw a load of Wes, Chappers, Davis etc the last few years and it really helped feel like you almost knew them as people and not just on the pitch. If the fans don't feel a connection to the players then they'll have less patience with them on the field, and that's when poor results can turn the place toxic. The media team and us as fans both have huge jobs to do with this new squad.

Egeli is likely to be the flair player and hopefully future superstar🤞so will be a fans favourite
Jens and Azor are going to be special and dominate most teams so should become very popular.
It's been a long while since Pablo but having another Spanish striker scoring goals will be very popular with the fans and with me living here I'm hoping Azon will become my new favourite!

It'll take a fair bit to move him from the top for me right now . Matusiwa after his baptism of fire at Birmingham I don't think for the most he's looked back . Now he has the added spice of working alongside his old mate Jens , it's only gonna get better I reckon

After that who knows , hoping old boiled Eggy fits in well and hits the ground running because Chris alive we need a spark don't we

Other than that and two I'd love to see for no other reason than it'd be like having two new players , it'd be J Clarke and Philogene . Both seemingly for me anyway , enigmas with so much promise

Either way I'll be supporting all of them

Here's to a new generation

Jack Clarke after he runs the length of the pitch to congratulate Nunez on his 99th minute winning goal on October 5th.

He'll get there quickly too, as his legs are longer ...

So far Matusiwa looks likely, obviously Cajuste if he keep fit but not sure if classed as new as such.

I hope Clarke comes good, looked lovely Saturday when he came on

Didn't want to start a new thread to ask this.

But have the new lads taken on the running in at HT like they are ready to talk.

Eh? Don’t you mean on his 39th minute hat trick as we head to half time 5-0 up.

If you’re going to dream win, dream a big win, not a scraped one.

Far too early for me. I still can't believe Woolfy is no longer here with us and we didn't sign Sheaf.

Azon, for me.

Hirst was totally in Matt Clarke's pocket all afternoon. Azon comes on and treats him like a ragdoll. He just looks like a proper, no nonsense, hard bstard!

And, as a fan base, we have a tendency to fall in love with our loan players.

He could be something a little bit special and may have gone under the radar a little bit due to all the enjoyable silly billyness over Nuñes. Plus Egeli’s arrival. I’m looking forward to seeing a lot more of him and think we will fairly soon, as he’ll end up being first pick.

Azor, Azon, Nunez… can see all three quickly rising through the ranks.

And whoever scores vs ‘them’

Akpom has impressed in his cameos too. We just need to find a way to get the best from him, but he could be a beast.
