Norwich vs Cov 15:39 - Jan 26 with 2659 viewspingu67

I really can't bring myself to want NCFC to ever win, equally though any dropped points for Cov is always welcome so I'm completely torn as to who I would prefer to win tonight

Perhaps a draw is the better outcome as they both drop points

No brainer for me, Nodge win. They aren't going down regardless.

It just feels kinda wrong wanting them to win, even though it helps us in that cov do not extend their lead any further

Think I'll watch the leeds game instead

Think of it as wanting Coventry to lose rather than Norwich winning.

Also, it keeps their little revival going to face Boro. They can revert to type after that. They aren't going down as there are much worse teams than them and there's too much traffic in front of them to nab what is starting to look like one (maybe 2) last play-off spot.

Boro's in a few weeks but nonetheless its not unthinkable that we can close the gap. Norwich tonight, QPR away Saturday, Boro in a few weeks. If they win tonight 11 points feels like a big gap, 8 with a game in hand is much better. Not to mention the pressure that will inevitably creep in as they get closer to the finish line. If they lose and we win the game in hand we're potentially just 1 game week away from the gap being 2, that would test their metal.

Edit apologies, thought you meant Cov v Boro.

Norwich will probably win, tbh. Would be kind of surprising if they don't, they're on a great run and at home.

Interesting fact: 1.5 gameweeks ago, Norwich were 16 points from 6th place - win tonight and it'll be 11 points.

I've probably bocked it now.

Draw for me with the added bonus of perhaps a couple of red cards for Coventry. Plus a non serious injury, or two, but a need to rest for a few weeks.

They look a decent side now, rather annoyingly

However that Stoke defeat suggests they aren't completely consistent as of yet. I assume Clement may well have picked up some targets he had at Rangers, probably a smart basket to be shopping really

I saw a Budgie on facebook claim they were only 13 points behind the playoffs but in reality they probably need 40 points in 18 games, they'll need to win 12 or 13 of those games and not lose very often to make that number

Next season they may well be a contender but that they have too much to do now

I hope Norwich absolutely stuff Coventry tonight. Norwich dropping points is an irrelevance to our promotion hopes. Coventry dropping three point sis absolutely essential.

It will be more like 43-45 points for a play off place, Sixth is usually in the range 73-75.

Norwich probably aren't going down I think and we only need top 2, so a Coventry win is fine by me. It's Middlesbrough we need to catch.

IF cov did lose, they would be 3 points ahead of boro on a much worse run of form (they would've taken 7 points from the last 6 compared to boro's 12 (and our 13))

in that case, it would be a toss up as to who is easier to catch

Maybe. As long as we catch one of them. We still need to play Middlesbrough, so see them as more likely.
