It certainly wouldn’t happen, but yes it would be nice to see.
Frank would actually be a good fit, although he always comes across as smug tvvat to me. That may not be fair, as I saw him in some feature/documentary where he was being himself and he seemed like a grounded and decent guy. It challenged my views about him for sure.
Brendan Rogers would be a good fit too. He’s super detail driven, always thoroughly prepares the team, is a great man manager and plays a ball-playing but progressive style. He’s effectively what Kieran is becoming. It sounds laughable, but I think he’d be tempted by a PL gig again, especially if our owners promised to splash a bit (lot) of cash. He nearly rejoined Swanseawhen they were in the crap and the money was a lot less then. But he’s probably on a nice easy and well paid gig in Saudi (must be boring though). | |
