| Has anyone had a good game tonight? 21:46 - Apr 14 with 1180 views | Nutkins_Return | It's an absolute shocker. The emotion of Saturday must have had an impact but I'm amazed how many poor touches. Hirst, Kipre, Clarke and Nunez have had absolute shockers. Philogene has been decent since on. | |

| Has anyone had a good game tonight? on 21:49 - Apr 14 with 1090 views | Nthsuffolkblue | O'Shea has played well. What he said after their first goal, though, clearly didn't have the desired impact at all. | |

I wouldn't even include Walton. Should have caught the first corner where the guy headed from. And some shaky stuff. Not laying this one on him though as he didn't have tons to do.

But did a very good impression of a 1920s flapper the rest of the time.

Far from his best game but I tend to agree with you. For the first quarter he looked like the one who was going to make something happen for us. Admittedly he tailed off, but who didn't? I reserve the word shocker for Nunez and possibly Kipre Jaden I thought was ok but struggled. Same with Mehmeti, neither of them got going. I thought Dan Neil was really not great, I thought McAteer was ok for the first 15 mins but apart from that, about the same as everyone else. Furlong, can't really remember anything he did. Hirst had a couple half chances but otherwise struggled against a Pompey defence that for the first 15 minutes I thought looked ropey. Greaves was just... there. Akpom and Sindre were immediately forgettable.

Clarke was poor He looked good because he tried some step overs and ran a bit But he did naff all with the ball and off it he stood around watching others battle for the ball.

By his standards yes, he was poor, but I stand by what I said about him looking the most likely to make something happen. There were occasions on the first half where he carried the ball really well, not just "tried some stopovers" But hey, we all have opinions, and I will always try and see things on the more positive side. It's the "shocker" label that I think was a little harsh

He was dreadful too. But certainly not alone in that.

He wasn't dreadful. He didn't have a shocker. There are 9 players ( plus subs ) to dig into before you get close to singling out Clarke.

Oh yes, there were worse. He was certainly less dreadful than many others tonight.
