What we got?

Entering the FA Cup in the first round and potentially winning a game?
New grounds?
Probability of relying more on the academy products?
No more big money loan signings?
The chance to be a big fish in a small pond, so to speak?

Anything else?

We well be able to reclaim our throne of Mid-table mediocrity once more, just with different teams bombing about.

The only positive for me is that it gives the club an opportunity to rebuild based around the youngsters coming through.
Kenlock, woolfy, Emmanuel, bish, dozzel, nydam, downes, lankaster and morris should all be looking to get plenty of game time in L1.
Whether that happens is another story..

Won't be many bigger clubs than us in League one. Sunderland if they don't come up but can't think of any others.

The bigger club thing is a lie, we are a club with a big history, but our ability and potential is certainly not a lot bigger than much of L1 at the moment.

Nonetheless, we’ve already shown this season that we can’t beat Accrington and previously we’ve been downed by Lincoln and Portsmouth so whilst we may have a bigger stadium and some rather dusty trophies, it won’t necessarily translate to points.

That's the main one we're hoping for. I certainly am.

Cheaper tickets?
The chance to come up against the mighty Bromley FC in the FA Cup is another of mine.
More games?
Chance of a cup run in the Checkatrade Trophy?
Possibility of finally beating Norwich, regardless of the fact it'd be the U21s.

I've only got 4 of L1 to do, so even that's not particularly exciting.

If we go down to L2 though, that's a whole different matter.

Chance to clear the deadwood. Higher wages moved on and bringing through some of our younger players to start creating a team with longevity, that has an identity. Are wages only expected to be 60% of a club's turnover in League One? If true, I'm sure ME will be rubbing his hands with glee!!

All Town contracts have a relegation to League 1 clause, no one is going to be on the same wages they are on now if we get relegated.

At least half of those players wont be here.

No longer being classed as a giant killing when we lose cup games.

Would love to think that we could have a team made up mainly of the youth squad as I have been impressed on the occasions we have been forced to play them due to injuries, only for them to be replaced by senior pro's when fit and inevitably losing.

Regretably im sure most will get sold prior to having a couple if seasons out of them.
