One could be cynical about that, and may well have a point, but on face value that's an impressive gesture. Even if MV does in some way benefit from this with good PR it's still a big thing for the Trust. |  |

Yea, this is a a gift to the charity. Daub Alderney Ltd (owned by Rank) is a gift for next season.
I believe they will have another 12 months after this.
Commercial town will still get the same money, my only concern is Rank / Daub won’t continue after when the deal is up. I can’t believe we will get anything like the current deal without promotion and another gambling firm. |  |

I did not know Magical Vegas were owned by Rank! I used to work for Rank group for there online Grosvener and Mecca sites I was sad to leave them ( they moved the department from London to Sheffield they did offer me a job up there plus moving expenses and alike but had just met my wife to be then and didn't feel it was right to move! ) They were a really good company. | | | |
