Bennetts – very interesting! 17:07 - Oct 2 with 2144 viewsSomethingBlue

More of a winger I think but pretty versatile. Was tipped for very big things when he went to Germany; those moves don't always work out for a number of reasons and I think a year here looks very smart for all parties.

I think we should all just be pleased that it isn't Will Keane again.

I'd be more impressed if Mr Lambert were knowledgeable about German football.

Or indeed, for that matter, third division football.

He must be viewed as a starter, we have plenty of competition already for the wide forward roles, so guess its bad news for Freddie (unless he is going to play the central role?)

No point getting loanees in just to boost the squad, thats big enough already!

RIP Sir Bobby

His highlight reel on Phil’s story looks very good. He has a weight of pass (apart from perhaps Dobra) that very few of our attacking players have.

Very exciting loan signing and good if it means Sears and Judge need to do more (they probably do).

Credit to Lambert for Bennetts and McGuinness but now we need to capitalise on a large squad and the young quality that we have.

Indeed. ITFC and the UK have long been struggling without a proper left-sided solution.

We’re talking decades.

Oh come on now now Mullers. He's Tamas Priskin without the goal threat.

I’d take Keane back without a problem. The way we’re playing now he would suit us (and him) down to the ground.

We’ve just got a lot of players like Norwood and Sears who we’re trying to make work. And maybe Jackson too if Lambert thinks he’s a central striker.

Harsh. Bluefish’s chunky digits are the least of his problems.

What makes you think he’s viewed as a starter? Mcguinness isn’t. The philosophy is the same for the whole squad, “work hard, impress in training and wait for an opportunity”.

Can we call him Gordon.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.
