If you test positive they have to let you know immediately , they did my sister in law , rest of family didn’t hear for several days as they tested negative, so on that basis Jackson is negative , unless he is keeping it secret ! | | | |

Isn't that the situation with Wayne Rooney at the moment? Why on earth do you have to isolate if you've had a negative test. Surely if you catch it you are positive immediately, so if you test negative you cannot have caught it from the person who tested positive? | |

You can test negative if you have caught it but not yet built up sufficient in your system to show up in the test. |  |
