I await the inevitable backlash.

Yeah, I can't bring myself to celebrate. We've been abysmal and mugged them from two mistakes. This is Shrewsbury, without a win in six and amongst the favourites for relegation. And we nearly gave them an equaliser just then too.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pleased we are winning, but it just feels like delaying then inevitable. More short term relief than long term happiness.

Delighted with the win as ultimately that's what it's about. However, I'm angry and embarrassed at the situation we were in there.

Encapsulated nicely. It’s like giving a starving dog a rubber bone.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Well if we’re going down the literally route then no you didn’t. But look at the replies in this thread, dejection at gaining 3 undeserved points having suffered at least 2 undeserved defeats in the last month or so.

Didn't bother with i-player today. Put together the exercise bike that was delivered. That's how non-plussed i was this afternoon.

Great, lucky lucky 3 points though.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Pardon me. I used the word pleased not happy. Apologies.

You should still chill out though because that's big why people are dejected, if you read the replies.

That's only the third time I've seen us play this season, and the first I've seen us win since Wigan. I'm definitely enjoying this one. Some really nice little moves in the first half even if as a whole we weren't quite there. Bit disappointed to see us go more direct second half but we scored two so who am I to complain.

I survived Ipswich 0-0 Burton

Can't get my head around that Dan. Those three points could be the difference between going up and staying in the league. We were utter tripe today but I shouted as loudly when we got that winner as I have for any goal our team has ever scored.

The old Sphincter went when they had one cleared off the line 30 seconds later.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

I don't know how anyone can watch that and think we'll be in with a chance of going up with Lambert in charge. I think that's why many of us felt flat.

Bet you're a scum fan who would celebrate us losing.

I watched the game on Ifollow and I'm chuffed to bits with how we're playing - Lambert just gets it and if we carry on with the 5-year plan we will see the football that Evans has promised us.

The negativity is incredible. Just get behind the manager everyone. he's here to stay.
