This on 12:31 - Feb 18 with 1716 views | tractordownsouth | I never realised how bad his record was at Stoke. Wikipedia says he won his first game against Huddersfield and then went 13 games without a win before beating Swansea on the last day, once both teams were already relegated.

This on 12:33 - Feb 18 with 1648 views | Herbivore | He's been dog turd pretty much everywhere he's been since leaving Norwich nearly a decade ago. I honestly don't know why ME thought he was the right man, as Simon Jordan said he must interview really, really well.

Not sure. I think a lot of sports journalists must have looked at the table recently, spotted that Lambert is still I charge, and they just feel really sorry for us.

I think she has a soft spot for Town. When she was writing in the papers she would regularly tip us for promotion.

You're still not an outer then, Fishers? I admire your loyalty.

Its come to something that ex players, and media / journalists are questioning his role and how he is still here..... yet he is. I genuinely dont think I have ever seen a manager cling on to a job this long.

Got to get behind the manager. Almost in the playoffs, people against him are just trolls

Ah, that explains it. I wondered why she was taking an interest. It all helps raise the profile of the issue.

ME has form. Both Keane and Jewell were hanging on for weeks longer than most clubs would have kept them for, possibly months. But this really is something else at this point. He fully deserved the sack more than a year ago now and aside from a 6 game run at the start of the season we've continued to be complete toss. I can't imagine that any other club in world football would have tolerated this kind of performance for this long.

This on 12:43 - Feb 18 with 1430 views | unstableblue | Exactly - see my recent post. What on earth is the selection criteria for these managers: - gruff, sociopath - football of questioanable style/entertainment and/or effectiveness - got a promotion once, but overall stats questionable Marucs judgement appalling - no scrutiny from a talented board and mgmt team!!

This on 12:51 - Feb 18 with 1369 views | Timefliesbyintheblue | The only point in Lambert's favour is that Aston Villa, Blackburn, Wolverhampton, Stoke and Ipswich were all in some sort of turmoil when he took them over. To a certain extent Norwich were as well. He has probably been given leeway for that when being interviewed. I guess it will not 'wash' anymore. There are scores of managers who potentially are good at the job of coaching and preparing a team etc. It is the looking after 20/30 young men and managing them correctly that mostly is the issue; especially the prima donnas among them. This I guess is where Hurst failed at Town.
This on 12:53 - Feb 18 with 1319 views | gordon | As Simon Jordan said, he must be brilliant at job interviews.

It goes to show how much PL has managed to con ME , it's shocking and made even worse that he somehow managed to get the 5 year contract . ME needs to look very hard at the way he handles things - surely he must install a DOF who knows about football , whoever he appoints as manager next . PL was very clever when he came here with all his PR stuff , but it didn't last long His win ratio since Norwich must be awful
This on 12:58 - Feb 18 with 1244 views | BlueWorldOrder | He's had a hand in the eventual relegation of Villa from the Premiership, Stokes relegation from the Premiership, Wolves and Blackburn to League One and took us down. Why was he ever appointed here>
