I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood 13:32 - Apr 1 with 5600 views | hype313 | I don't like him, he's a clown, has morality issues and hasn't done anything of note since he joined. Am I being unduly harsh?

I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood on 13:37 - Apr 1 with 2232 views | clive_baker | Can't say I 'like him' particularly, I don't see a lot in him that would make me think I would get along with the guy, but on the pitch, I do think he could be a handful next season at this level if he's given the service though. We look a better side with him in it. No reason why he can't score 20 goals in a side that's creating.

I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood on 13:38 - Apr 1 with 2207 views | chrismakin | I see Norwood in two ways and on one side it's based on nothing but opinion of which I may be way off Firstly football Good goalscorer. Needs a few chances but goals to game ratio very good. Strong and a nuisance. Personality.. seems a bit of a DK. Instagram videos of weights and then pulling out of games with back spasms. Drink driving. Twitter arguments. I dont imagine him being a professional in any sense of the word.

I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood on 13:38 - Apr 1 with 2213 views | wkj | This is a yes/no kind of situation. He probably one of the better players we currently have - but we should have MUCH better players than Norwood on the books.

I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood on 13:39 - Apr 1 with 2200 views | Kieran_Knows | Some of the stuff I heard about his antics during the first lockdown last year, then going in to pre-season were nothing short of embarrassing for a professional player. For some reason though, I just think if you got him fit and firing, with decent wingers etc, he'd easily get 15-20 goals in this division.

I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood on 13:40 - Apr 1 with 2178 views | BlueBadger | He's the best of our current crop of forwards, but I fear that says more about the quality of the rest, rather than HIM. Third division is about the highest standard he's capable of playing and frankly, his attitude towards his off-field life and fitness is pretty poor. That said, if his professionalism was better, he probably wouldn't;t have been in a position to sign for us anyway. [Post edited 2 Apr 2021 0:32]

The thing is, it's another Huws scenario, if he does this or if he does that, so far I've seen nothing to suggest he is anything more than a nuisance up front in this division. He needs 5 chances to score one. I'm not quite at the Blubbers stage he is with Edwards, but Edwards has done more in his time here for this club than Norwood has. Surprised Norwood gets such a free ride from our fans just because he's a bully up top.

I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood on 13:40 - Apr 1 with 2177 views | JDB23 | I'd be prepared to see how he performs in a team actually moulded and coached by Cook. I've been one of his biggest critics but he still has managed to score goals in a god awful football team, I also wouldn't have any faith in us recruiting better.

He's not a good goalscorer, certainly not in this division.

You beat me to the correct answer Like many others , just because he's the best we've got , it doesn't make him any good

Tbh he is. Think is was 8 goals in 13 starts or something? Its not that bad at all.

I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood on 13:47 - Apr 1 with 2085 views | Basuco | Yes, very harsh, Town are much more of a threat with him in the side and miss him badly when he is out, it is very noticeable when he is subbed and our goal threat disappears completely.

Its 6 in 13 starts. That's not bad in squad which barely creates anything.

I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood on 13:48 - Apr 1 with 2063 views | jayessess | We're on the hook for a generous salary, so I doubt there's any prospect of him going anywhere. I think him and Judge were the great failures of Lambert's recruitment. We signed them as experienced players on big wages who were supposed to be elite players for the division and even at their best they've been no better than OK.

I'd be happy to see the back of Norwood on 13:49 - Apr 1 with 2053 views | Illinoisblue | Weirdly harsh. He’s our only striker - possibly our only player - who understands the dark arts and has some devil in him. He was born to s5ithouse. If we could ever give him some decent service he’d get 15 - 20 goals a season.

It certainly isn't enough to say he's a good goal scorer in L1 either. He is just as critical in creating movement to attack the final third as anyone else. if you watch the way Dion Charles moves at Stanley, then look at Norwood - you'll soon see why we're creating less chances too. I think it is personally. He barely gets any service from our lads. Hes missed some bloody sitters too. But we dont do enough for him.

I'd prefer someone who doesn't have the dark arts, devil in him that is just purely Clinical in front of goal like Marcus Stewert, but I'd also like Margot Robbie to pop over an that ain't happening either. As I said in my OP, I maybe being unduly harsh.

He doesn't create enough room either. Strikers are more than just shot takers in the modern game. As I edited into the reply - watch how Dion Charles moves vs Norwood. Charles is a very good example of how strikers do more than just score goals.

I think when you watch tranmere highlights nors looks to be in the right place at the right time with the 10 being the more moving of the two in a 4 2 3 1 type role. I will add. I desperately want Charlie wyke. Hes defo an upgrade. [Post edited 1 Apr 2021 13:55]

It's quite fun to just look at the Ipswich stats on there. I have no idea how accurate they are, but the "Top Assists" is fairly eye opening.

He has moments - but he is bang average goal scorer for L1 - a fair few pegs below being good.
