West Brom should have stuck with Slaven Bilić, it felt like he was beginning to turn it around and had instilled a never say die attitude in the team that could have gotten them the few wins they needed to stay up. [Post edited 20 May 2021 9:46]

I think West Brom are in real danger of going the Ipswich/Portsmouth/Hull/Sunderland fall from grace. Their board are seemingly trying to cash in their chips from the Premier League gravy train without any real foresight into future stability. |  |

I guess somone has to have this opinion, and it’s not linked to LSD post earlier...
Big Sam is right. He gets portrayed as a longball merchant, one trick pony etc. etc. whereas in fact he was (is) one of the most forward thinking coaches of the last 30 years, who’s teased great performances out of some of the most exciting players in the Premier League.
Also, he shouldn’t have been sacked as England manager. |  | | |
