To me it's the opposite, they should have sacked him a good 5 years earlier, when they were on that 10 year trophyless run. Back then they were still a team with quality and would have been able to attract some better managers.
It's going to take some effort to get them back there now, Arteta is horrendous, they will lose players like Saka and Pepe when they don't qualify for Europe again and won't be able to attract good players. |  |

Wenger's buys were slowly getting diluted in quality due to the rise in transfer fees and the team was slowly suffering. I look at what Arsenal have spent this summer and question on who exactly? Is there any of their new signings that could make a huge difference? Once one of the big sides of the EPL, Arsenal are rapidly becoming mediocre. | |

Neighbour is an Arsenal and Norwich fan. Can never quite keep up with whether his son is Man City, Liverpool or who. Today he was wearing an Arsenal shirt for the first time that I have seen.
