No great surprise.

In normal circumstances you wouldn't expect him to be a director.

Town's loss is a local school's PE department's gain.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Going to join Evans when he completes his takeover at Huddersfield, isn’t he?

Hopefully Lee can enjoy his role without trying to do the role of 5 men.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

Not gonna lie, I didn't even realise that he was still a Town employee.

I don't think he's going anywhere.

Still runs the academy doesn't he?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

I am still hoping he will realise he might be able to get his hands on a Premier League club briefly ... as long as he is quick. And stay within East Anglia too.

That's the old holding company that some of us have shares in, not the football club itself.

It did own around 12% of the football club shares at the time of the takeover but that will dwindle if the pension fund's money comes in as share capital (rather than loans) as is likely I suspect. Although it doesn't appear any new shares have yet been issued.

Lee O'Neill has never been a director of the football club (Ipswich Town Football Club Company Limited)

He does, and a very good job he does of it as well.

"Have removed" makes it sound bad. It may actually be "stepped down", given he is no longer General Manager.

The filing before that (a couple of weeks earlier) is Mike O'Leary joining the board. Presumably one in, one out as Club rep on the PLC board.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Lee O'Neil was given a virtually impossible task under Marcus Evans.

Did a lot of good work in the academy prior to that. Well respected at that level of the club.

Indeed, this. The PLC always has a representative from the club's upper management on its board.
