I said after Cheltenham that surely someone at the club ought to be working on technique in front of goal and was told that we are the second most efficient team in front of goal in the division. 39 shots across those two games, 12 on target and 1 goal suggests that stat is skewed by the scoring fest earlier in the season. People are right to say that the start of the season, but McKenna has put us in with a reach, but it looks like our inability to kick a ball accurately as soon as we get in front of goal is ultimately going to finish us off. I’m not the best judge because I’ve not seen enough of Bonne, but from what I’ve I’d sign him in a heartbeat - providing the money was right. He’s a good player. For the rest, they have between now and seasons end to prove themselves. It’s up to them.
