So in the impending apocalypse, what can you bring to the table? 16:00 - Mar 4 with 5395 views | The_Flashing_Smile | I did a bit of archery in the Scouts, and I'm quite good at Wordle. Also, isn't it just Sod's Law that we finally find ourselves a really good manager, and then the world ends in a nuclear holocaust? FFS.

So in the impending apocalypse, what can you bring to the table? on 16:04 - Mar 4 with 1663 views | jeera | Currently looking at tents online but can't seem to find any that are nuclear bomb proof. Someone's missing a trick there. I did ask a few days ago where the safest place in and around mainland Britain would be but got no replies. You'd think Scotland but of course there are bases up there, including the obvious submarine base.

"I bring nothing of use to the table, sorry." Yes you do, a holiday home in Colombia. Now all we need is the address.

If you don't mind travelling a couple of miles outside the UK Co Leitrim might not be a bad bet. I'll leave a key under a rock by the front door..

If others want to take flight to Colombia, the in-laws have a 6 bed, 4 bathroom, 2 kitchens place in Bogota. Since father-in-law passed away in 2020 it's been virtually empty, only one of my brother's-in-law still lives there. Close to Parque Salitre, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Ok if you can stand the reduced oxygen and pollution.

So in the impending apocalypse, what can you bring to the table? on 16:28 - Mar 4 with 1453 views | Churchman | About 50 bottles of wine, 8 bottles of decent vintage port, 4 bottles of single malt scotch, 8 standard bottles of champagne plus a Jeraboam. 6 tins of red salmon, 12 tins of beans, a jar of Branson pickle, some Somerset cheddar, Red Leicester and a little stilton + crackers. Last but not least, a packet of Walkers Sensations Chilli flavour. Reading: The Men Who Made The Town, Ipswich by Ken Rice, Blue and White Crusade (a cheap publication about the 78 cup run), Jungle Boy, John Cobbold’s book, Time on the Grass, Ipswich town in pictures 1960s and various other publications. My ITFC baseball cap should resist the fallout, given its cost, and if it lets me down, it’ll be no different to the team. Sorted
