It's what you generate you can spend, their sponsorship is going to be so far behind the other clubs it will take some time for them to be able to compete financially with the big boys, this isn't a Chelsea, Man City scenario where they can spend whatever they want. |  | | |

But, and it’s a big but, they can’t offer European football (yet alone CL football) to anyone and that is a big draw to most top class footballers.
Yes, they can probably offer big wages but the top players who expect to play in the Champions League football won’t go there just yet - not until they crack the top 4. |  | | |
