I see this as more about celebrating the person than the position, and regardless of your view on the monarchy and whether it should continue I think she's been a hard working selfless person.
Yes she's lived in relative luxury all of her life, but she could very easily have just enjoyed that and paid lip service to the role.
I'll be working all the way through it anyway so not really going to get involved but have no issue with what in reality is a celebration of her life, she won't get another one of these, not sure there will ever be another Jubilee celebration of any sort. |  |

She’s done about as much work for Britain as Evans did as ITFC owner.
In fact, lip service is all she’s done. Her job as head of state is largely similar to that of a social media influencer.

Starmer is just playing the game. The country won’t embrace republicanism anytime soon so a bland tweet to appeal to the Union Jack boxer short army is harmless.
My loathing is more towards the concept of royalty rather then them in a personal capacity. Being pragmatic, I know that they aren’t going anywhere but they should be modernised. They can use their own money for stuff and they can pay what they should in terms of tax.
