Not really ruined it. But anyone with half a brain can tell you that is a largely silly opinion in a time when most of us are stuck in a CoL crisis.

We’ve gone from DIRECT DESCENDANTS OF LITERAL GODS to “An important barrier to a tyrannical government” to “Well, they may have some tourist value if you really stretch logic”.

The monarchy is a racist institution built on slavery, theft and brutal control of other nations. If anyone thinks that’s b0llocks I suggest one does some research.

To help with the COL you can work thurs and Fri then for some extra pennies instead of having two days off then can’t ya.
Win win

Imagine coming in with that level of privilege and thinking that’s a burn. Some people will be and don’t have a choice. In fact I worked the entire bank holiday on the last one myself for those reasons.

But if anyone is wondering, yes I am working tomorrow.

I’ve worked almost every single bank holiday, including Xmas days, for last 2/3 years. And on nights this two coming.

Why? To help afford things I want to do.

Simple really isn’t it. Don’t moan or complain others were born into money, just crack on

You can crack on and also moan about people being being born into money, the two aren't mutually exclusive...

Why can't you do both?

Edit - I don't really see the point in caring massively either way when it comes to the monarchy, but I do feel like pointing out and fighting inequality is generally a good thing.

I work when I want/need to. My bank holidays are whenever I am burnt out or ahead of myself. Same for weekends.

2/10 - GOTCHA moment poorly planned, do better.

It’s a pathetic argument isn’t it. But as you say, our taxes is funding this nonsense so I’ll happily take the extra days off without feeling any sense of hypocrisy.

What taxes are you referring to? Income tax? Fuel duty?

Maybe, but your definition of burnt out and mine are largely different. Very rarely have I worked a full time week in 2 years.

Good attitude. I'm not particularly interested in working more hours for more money. A promotion meaning I could maintain my income while dropping to a 4 day week would be ideal. Even suggesting it would make your card with an employer as being 'lazy' though such is the culture of brainwashed stupidity we have where working every hour under the sun is seen as some sort of virtue and not the completely stupid sale of your valuable time for peanuts.

Truly impaired.
