What is it you like best about the Tories? The corruption, the bigotry, the incompetence or the willingness to support open criminality?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Or the tax cuts for the richest (and subsequent crashing of the economy), the chronic underfunding of public services to the point that every single one is going on strike, the demonisation of foreigners or austerity and killing off the poor?

Or the dumping of millions of tonnes of sewage daily into our rivers & seas, along with the deregulation of other environmental protections that will damage the health of him and his family (at the very least). All to line the pockets of the blatantly corrupt people he votes for

That blog is from Corbynite blogger Rachael Swindon. She does have rather problematic views on certain subjects.

To be fair, the average Corbynite would appear to actively prefer a far right Tory government in charge than a vaguely soft-left Labour one.

I don't get it.

It's like wanting chips for your tea, but only mash is on offer, so you'll scrape a turd off the street and eat that instead.

For me, it's the open criminality.
Corruption, bigotry and incompetence has been in politics for ever.
...but 35bn in fraud during Covid just wipes the floor.

"Soft-left"!!? LOL

You're as deluded as a Brexiteer. I suppose Starmer and Streeting aren't in the pocket of private US healthcare donors either?

Average Corbynite here who disagrees with what you say.
We may be a dreamers who want hard socialism but above all we are pragmatists who would prefer a caring Labour Govt committed to funding the NHS, like the last Labour govt did, rather than Tory f**kwits who want to destroy it.
The NHS has always been the Flagship policy of the Labour party, the one thing we achieved, despite all the doubters, that has stood the test of time 'cos it was and always will be the right thing to do.

Denis Healey challenged 'the Marxists' within the Unions and was outspoken against communists.
We now know that Soviet and Chinese Communism was closer to Authoritarianism so perhaps he was just labeling them as that to 'other' them.
To his credit he did say he would "squeeze property speculators until the pips squeak."

You honestly think there is no difference?

My assumption was based on your constant pro-Tory posts. You don't think "Tory voters don't worry" is anything but pro-Tory? Perhaps you need a little more self-awareness. Or perhaps you just troll a lot.

You never heard of sarcasm? And currently listening to everything Starmer says sounds like trying to appease the tory voters.
Troll? am I not allowed to make a comment? Didn't realise this board was just for the usual few, how naive of me.

How odd.

Feel free to address the question rather than cry "poor me". No one has shut you down from making any comment at all. We have answered your point roundly and you now cry "am I not allowed to make a comment? Didn't realise this board was just for the usual few, how naive of me."

Make your mind up. Are you being sarcastic and clearly agree that Labour is far better than this disgraceful Tory Government, or are you decrying being proven wrong for holding the position that there is no difference and have no argument to stand on?

Argue your case (if you actually have one) and stop crying victim!

Corbyn is a Bennite. Healy fought against Benn and his ilk.

Healy also introduced harsher austerity in one year than George Osborne did in five. By doing so he saved the economy.

He was loathed by the Bennites and and Militant tendency.
