I must admit i did think that perhaps we should change the kicker for the second penalty but it's Harry so i just put it out of my mind and just said a little prayer . I do think the whole squad worked really hard and we could not have asked for more . |  | | |

Think you are overreaching here Frimmers. You always want your best penalty taker to take all the penos. Surely if you score the first you are more likely to be confident to score the 2nd. Looks to me as if Kane was in two minds, I thought he should just blast it down the middle. It happens, pressure moments can't be replicated in training. |  | | |

He’s the penalty taker. Of course he should have taken it. Had we got another, he should have taken that too. I say again, he’s the man unless he says no.
He didn’t over think it. He just made a pigs ear of it. He’s human, it happens. Good penalty takers know where they’re going to hit it and do just that. And Kane is good.
At 1-1 we let them back in. That’s where the game was lost. We need better than the two in the centre of defence for me |  | | |

I appreciate confidence.. but if I'm sitting there thinking does he go same way but higher lower. Or does he go right because keeper may think he'll go same way etc.. then god knows what kane has going through his head.

I think it's natural imo to be double thinking before taking a 2nd penalty. I don't think it's possible not to.
I don't feel we were the better.. France showed when they needed to they upped the gears. They are frightening when they need a goal. | |
