Quite a covering on the ground here in CO9 19:51 - Dec 11 with 2089 viewsMiaow

Freezing rain earlier this evening has given way to snow. Just had a look outside and everything is looking rather white.

Even before any snowfall, the ground has looked for a few days as if it has received a bit of a dusting due to the harsh frosts.

Pleased that our game wasn't affected yesterday. And those Marcus Stewart gloves are nice and toasty.

Yeah, we've got some December-like weather round my way too.

Who knew?

My prediction might have been a bit overenthusiastic. Stopped now and will probably have all melted by the morning.

It snowed in Kent most of the evening leaving a couple of inches sufficient to knock today’s golf on the head. Boo!

Mrs SSB is on that section as we speak. Very, very slow. She is saying there is a fairly deep covering of snow.
Left IP23 at 4.30 this morning and encounterd no real problems until near Stansted junction on M11.
She's bursting for a pee and heading for Rickmansworth so hope for her sake the traffic starts moving more freely soon.

No precipitation here.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.
