Wycombe pitch 07:55 - Dec 12 with 4817 views | unbelievablue | I'm reliably informed their pitch is that Dello partially artificial stuff. Any idea if this can freeze? Looks like it'll get above freezing Friday/Sat AM, which should help.

Wycombe pitch on 08:59 - Dec 12 with 4550 views | xrayspecs | About an hour away, we have a couple of inches of snow which is unlikely to clear over next few days as temps are hovering around freezing and only briefly getting warmer on Saturday. It will be the safety of the stadium and access routes as well as the playability of the pitch that will be important. Wycombe sits in a hollow which is unlikely to help.
Wycombe pitch on 09:19 - Dec 12 with 4461 views | davblue | They have under soil heating I think so pitch wise shouldn’t be an issue. I’m 15 mins away and there’s not loads of snow here and the roads are clear but it’s hilly around there. Wrap up warm it’s by far the coldest ground I’ve been to on cold days.

I would agree both Bolton and Oldham can be bloody cold but they seemed tropical when compared to watching a game at Arbroath.

Charlton away 1/1/97 minus temperatures! Players studs sounded like they were on concrete!

Ah but at Bolton you've also got windchill to factor in, with their new stadium being specially designed to allow the wind to whip in from all sides to freeze fans' extremities off.

That nearby foghorn sometimes drowns out their dozens of spectators as well.

Try watching in Aberdeen with a wind chill of -20 right on the North sea coast. Aberdeen Vs Dunfermline. Worst game of football I have ever seen. Nobody had more than two touches of the ball in a row and every hoof up pitch went straight out.

I think Gayfield Park is the closest ground to the sea in Europe. Again the wind blows in directly off the North Sea and I remember thinking to myself, Jesus imagine having a season ticket here. The game I saw there was terrible as well.
