Albeit McGreal started it (we assume) but when McKenna came in we were playing this way with two big strikers in Norwood and Bonne, and were a good mix of pretty football and direct and physical.
We're now almost too pretty for our own good. I'll keep saying it as well, I think Celina has been a bigger miss than people realize when comparing this season to last. |  |

Honestly...its more to do with taking chances.
Today is as bad as we've played under KM but how many chances did we miss inside 12 yards today and hit the bar.
We are marginally the wrong side of things at the moment and it's ruddy annoying. | |

Edmundson was very poor when he played earlier this season, prior to being replaced by Burgess. Worse than Burgess now, despite his faults.
He could get another shot, possibly instead of Woolfenden, but I would be concerned about overhauling the whole defence at the same time as changing the shape. | |

Something has to change, Edmundson was part of a very solid defence that kept many clean sheets at the back-end of last season, at least worth an opportunity.

We rotated Ladapo today. Hirst didn't look any better.
We haven't got many options in central midfield; could try Luongo for Evans, I guess.
But I think it'll be akin to changing deckchair on the Titanic. The issues go deeper than the personnel. | |

Interestingly, a few posters were happy to calculate points per game for Burgess vs Edmundson when they wanted Edmundson out of the team even though the sample size for Burgess was very small.
Now Burgess has a larger sample size which given our results will probably show a completely different points per game for Edmundson and Burgess these calculations are absent.
Burgess has done OK but today was a re-enactment of Father Teds 5-a-side where someone walked past him at glacial speed. It's clearly not all his fault we are doing less well but I would like to see Edmundson back in there, I just think we are a better overall team with him in.
