Promoted to Deputy Chair of the Conservative Party. They don’t even try to hide behind a facade of respectability any more. Right wing swivel eyed loons who think the poor should survive on fresh air.
But he does go down well with them. Former Labour councillor as well. Appeals to a certain demographic.
it is a last desperate throw of the dice as the Tories recognise the old mantra of "thems our betters, thems is. may not be working any more
And it has finally dawned on them that working class folk who educated themselves and are now teachers, doctors, civil servants etc aren't actually the establishment and it is the ex public school chaps oihnson, Rees-Mogg, Farage who are, and who are the real establishment.... and lied to them just to get their votes
There is no levelling uo, food is not cheaper, wages are going down not up
So the hope is they now have someone with the brexiter ability to lie, but does it in what 'these betters' imagine is a northern way of speaking
Cool argument bro. Not sure I have a comeback for that.
What is it about the openly racist, corrupt, incompetent, and criminal Tories that makes you feel the need to turn any legitimate criticism of them into a 'BuT CoRByN' diatribe?

But he just sums up how awful many Tories MPs are now, as a fellow Tory MP told Sam Coates.
The problem is the Tory Party has effectively become, and its membership has been taken over by, the Brexit Party.
These days (especially with the purge before the last election) there aren't many decent MPs left in the Tory Party, and those that are, or supposedly are, are effectively held hostage by the Brexiteers.
Take my local MP Tom (did you know I was in the Army?) Tugendhat, who is supposed to be a One Nation Tory, but who, in his desperation to advance his career, appears willing to go along with many things I am sure he probably finds distasteful.

That MP is being rather generous. That's been their problem over at lest the last 3, if not 4, elections., not just presently. Aggressive simplistic comments and strap lines may win elections, but come unstuck when they meet reality. Trouble is, whilst they still work at election time, there's no reason to change. What a time to be alive, etc.
