Hirst's interview 07:19 - Feb 23 with 2331 views | Stu_boy | Comes across well in the eadt. However, i'm unsure how he can call leicester a top premier league side with some of the best players in the world. Yes tielemans and maddison are good but think he is stretching the truth somewhat if he thinks they are the best in the world
Hirst's interview on 07:46 - Feb 23 with 2191 views | Metal_Hacker | I guess it's all relative .They're more "best players in the world" types than League One I suppose especially when you're a young 21 year old trying to make it to the top

Hirst's interview on 08:33 - Feb 23 with 2032 views | unstableblue | Leicester are a top Premier League side in terms of investment, facilities and strategy Yes, they are having a poor season But if you look at their wage bill, the best training facility in the Premier League and their plans for their stadium then you’ll realise that outside Man U, Man City, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and perhaps now Newcastle they are right up there

Hirst's interview on 08:53 - Feb 23 with 1954 views | Guthrum | They have Premier league winners in the squad. For that matter, any squad playing in the upper half of England's top division (which Leicester mostly have been since 2016) can reasonably claim to be among the "best in the world" if you're talking about 20 or 30 teams, rather than just five or six.

Have they got plans to upgrade the stadium, I know they were looking for expansion for the 2018 world cup so it might be a rehash of those plans taking it to about 44k?

Pretty amazing when you consider Leicester Tigers get about 20,000 too.
Hirst's interview on 09:51 - Feb 23 with 1641 views | OldFart71 | Couldn't ITFC be classed as one of the top teams when out of 11 first team players only one in the shape of Paul Cooper wasn't an International. Oh how I long for those days when we did play the top teams in the World and whilst winning the EUFA Cup perhaps they weren't the most elite teams we played they were certainly well up there. As for Leicester. To in any way play down their achievements is clearly wrong. Doesn't every Town fan want to be the next Leicester. That in the grand scheme of things would be a major achievement. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

So effectively average for premier league standard, are they really any better than west ham or Southampton in terms of facilities etc they are just an average prem side

Despite the West Ham stadium Leicester are streets ahead in terms of off-field set-up, check out their training ground, best in Premier League https://www.lcfc.com/lcfc-training-ground

Hirst's interview on 14:47 - Feb 23 with 1100 views | ringwoodblue | Personally, I think he made a mistake by choosing Blackburn over Ipswich at the beginning of the season. If he had been with us since July, he could have made a much greater impact by now. As it is, he is still acclimatising to the squad and our system and it will take time for him to start scoring regularly. Maybe he got bad advice from his agent but he was wasting his time at Blackburn.

Hirst's interview on 14:59 - Feb 23 with 1077 views | BouncebackIpswich | Leicester fan (and Ipswich fan) we have invested heavily in facilities, we have a genuine world class training facility at a place called Seagrave and its a big pull for players. We do also have stadium expansion plans that I think are pending approval but not up to date on it. This has come at the cost of investing in the squad, but should we be able to stay up this year our baseline is a lot higher than the Southamptons or Crystal Palaces of the world. Part of it is the enduring legacy from the PL win and recent Champs league appearances which give you credibility in the bank. We've been a top 10 side for a run of years and still when having a woeful season under an incompetent manager look good to stay up.

One doesn't have to exclude the other. It is possible to care about different things, to different degrees, at the same time.

They’ve done well to develop the club and the team. Sure, it takes money but you also need to get key decisions right. If ever a club highlights our missed opportunity under Evans.
