Abandoned his ERG mates and didn’t vote against the Windsor Agreement. He must think he still has a ministerial future!

Has Hunt ever been part of the ERG? Are you sure you don't mean Baker? Fairly sure Hunt was in support of staying in the EU before the vote.

EDIT: I thought you meant Jeremy for some reason, ignore me!

The thing is that Truss, Johnson the self styled ERG (I’d call them DDS - disgraceful, dysfunctional shower) and co have to vote against it. They must know that there is nothing good in Brexit. Not one thing. There never will be.

So by voting against it, they can say real Brexit was never implemented and that’s their nutty reason for the disaster overtaking this country. It’s their bizarre excuse and justification for their gross misjudgement and ideological brown stuff. The evidence of just how crackpot Brexit is, is out there for all to see, should they care to look.

Hunt has a two year future before he and his fellow mugs are thrown in the bin. Voting against the agreement would have shortened it to a few days. He either has seen the light or is acting in self interest. I think I can guess which it is.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Of course the TWTD board didn't take the ERG seriously.

But the BBC and the print media did.

Rentagob Rees-Mogg has been making comments today saying that Boris Johnson won the popular support of the Public during yesterdays grilling by the 'Kangaroo court' (Rees-Moggs words) and would win a by-election comfortably if one was held.

Delusional.

Poll finds 72% of Britons think former PM is dishonest after committee showdown on Partygate.

51% of Conservative voters and 59% of pro-Brexit voters polled, believe the same.

A dishonest, drunken philanderer against a Lib-Dem goody-2-shoes.

Obvs a landslide for Johnson?

He spouted this off when interviewed by C4 News in the Lobby last night. I think he believes what he is saying as he oozes arrogance talking to “the plebs” (us). Horrible man.

If Sunak had any power in his party he'd remove the whip from those who voted against it. At least that particular faction is looking vanishingly small and will be all but gone after the next GE.

The very odd thing with Rees-Mogg is that he purports to be a traditionalist but is happy to undermine the rule of law and the Parliamentary process at every opportunity.

That's because as an extreme Catholic who will only take the Tridentine Mass*, he is working to undermine all that has happened since the Reformation and return the country to a Catholic autocracy.

*That's the mass in Latin rather than the vernacular.

Indeed. Starmer has successfully done this with his own rodent problem. Sunak appears weaker for not doing the same.
