Disagree. Those balls to Burns were cutting them up. He was too fast for his man. We didn't attack quite as much we 100% stuck to the plan and what we created was very good. |  |

We definitely created better chances without really controlling the game.
They couldn't deal with Burns, and I seem to remember that they also struggled to deal with him when we played them at home.
I think we deserved the win. Outside of McGoldrick somehow missing a point blank header, I can't think of any other chances they had.
Without McGoldrick and maybe Mendez-Laing, there's not much of a team there. | |

We've been clinical throughout this little run. That's what's made the difference. In Jan we'd have lost this one nil in the 94th minute having blasted all our chance over the bar. I'm not quite sure where it's come from, but I'm liking it!  |  |

Thought Warne had laid the groundwork very well either side of the fixture. You can see why Derby have recruited the way they have and it was a massive gamble. One which looks to their credit, like it will see them close but unlikely to go up.
There was real quality in their side as you'd expect given we've seen the foundation of it play for and against us for so many years. But the way in which we've progressed as both recruitment and coaching have impacted us is really marked.
We weren't superb at times, we were very solid though and well organised. It's easy to see McKenna as overthinking it when we don't get results, but the tactics today and the manner in which we looked to counter them was brilliant to see. |  |
