Don’t think it would be if you ship out Evans & Camara. Would be a very decent four to choose from out of the options that would be left.

Baffling is strong. Surprising. Would like to see Camara play for us. Rings something different. Evans is also a very good player and should be playing in the champ.

On the flip side it would show a ruthless streak and we are getting good ages through the door and we'll be well equipped with Morsy and Luongo into their 30s. Camara is still a good age mind.

I don't see midfielder links as a problem. Last season showed we struggled in L1 after Evans' injury and until Luongo came in. We've got realistically Luongo, Morsy and Evans first team options for this division (and Evans has been unreliable). Four good options for 2 places would be better, and extra quality would be good too. I'm not convinced any of our midfielders are top end of the table quality, which presumably is where we want to get to at some point.

He's not a winger at all. He's an 8 or box to box midfielder (his words).

He is versatile and has been played out wide or in the number 10 but his best position is 8. Bit like, well....Jack Taylor.
