0 credit to town. Suppose not a shock.

Looked like a side who hadn't played together against a side who have played together for a while.

Gary O’Neil is a sham of a manager to begin with.

Manages like he used to play. Petulant and mundane

If we’d played like we did and lost I’d have just said fair play to wolves tbh. As you say just like a spoilt child.

He’ll be unemployed shortly so can understand him being a little grumpy.

Just goes to show he has no clue about us. He uses the excuse that his are a new team not playing together....however that was a team for us that also do not play together as none of those were usual starters.

Full of excuses, like most of the frauds on the managerial merry-go-round.

He'll be managing Gillingham or Walsall in a few years, if he's lucky.

A desperate, desperate bloke, repeatedly stating he’s only been there 6 weeks and it was a mess when he came in.

Fook off. Sacked before the end of October.

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

I notice they had a lot more "injuries" when they were winning

So what?

We came from 2-0 down, to win, vs a premier league team. Do we really care if the manager doesn’t give us credit?

He might not have rated us, he might be more worried about his own team.

Did he also coach them to go down at any tackle. Also the bloke who scored their 2nd and his sly dig at the North Stand. Worked out well for him...

It must hurt being outsmarted by a rookie manager of a team in the league below, in his first season at this level too (and only 2 months in at that AND us playing our reserve side)

It shouldn’t be a surprise though. KM is a vastly superior coach with a lot more experience at a higher level.

I suspect reality is setting in with the Wolves fans that they could be in a bit of trouble. Although there’s some very poor sides (by PL standards) in the league this year, so they may survive.

Couldn’t care a less, personally. It’s all waffle anyway.

Managers often do the big up the opposition before a game (Danny Cowley prime example) and if they do mention their opponents after a game, it’s usually to hide their own incompetence or to tell everyone how good they were in beating such a great side. They’re not interested in the other team and nor should they be.

As for the Wolves manager, looking at their forum O’Neil is not exactly flavour of the month. The ex-scummer is toast.

Are we now so used to managers saying ipswich are the best team they've ever seen that we get upset when one stops at 'good team in good form'? Who cares what he says.

Also, no manager is going to say a team from the league below is great after being beaten by them because his own supporters will lose their minds. Imagine the meltdown on here if we lose to port vale in the next round and mckenna comes out saying "port vale are the best team we've played this season".

Thought it was funny tbh

Talked of a team of strangers, yet 9 of the players played together in the last cup game.
