Someone that might control it, or make something out of nothing for himself.

Real bad day at the office all round.

Probably Broadheads worse game.

Just proper crap all round

We have players who can do that but yesterdY was just really bad.

We could have had Harry Kane upfront and we still wouldn't have scored.

Our pass completion in final third must have been terrible. Too hot potato at times.

WBA had 2 weeks to watch every game we have played this season and worked out a way of beating us. Fair play to them. Better team on the day won, how it should be. McKenna will learn from it, make no mistake about that. Every club in the world is looking for an impact striker, every club. We are just fine as we are. Sure McKenna will look in January, but for now, we are just fine.

WBA done a job on us.

Just as brum did, just as rotherham did… if yesterday was a 1 off I’d not mind. But a pattern is occurring, as I think we all knew would happen.

Hopefully.
But how many weeks deep are we now that the early goal against us hasn’t been worked out?

Brum and Rotherham didn't do a job on us though, did they? You're verging on flounce territory with your posts this morning.

Didn’t they?
Brum were all over us, didn’t give us a moments rest, and we didn’t win… so in my books they done a job.

Rotherham, stopped us playing, done a job.

2 points from 2 games. If that’s not the opposition doing a job I’ve no idea what is.

But I’m sure you’ll be right, as you normally are, all the time, always.

By "done a job on us" you mean we didn't beat them. It happens.
I thought some of our decision making was off yesterday, no-one can claim that they had a good game, and I thought West Brom looked very good.
Oxford and Burnley way back at the start of the year since we returned with nothing. Not yet time to start changing or criticising.

Brum were all over us for about half an hour. We dominated the second half and got ourselves back into the game well. Rotherham barely had a kick second half and relied on a worldy out of nowhere in stoppage time to nick a point. Both sides are pretty strong at home, as are West Brom. I wouldn't describe either game as teams doing a number on us, no, although that's a fair enough description of yesterday's game. We aren't going to win every game we play, we've been outstanding this season overall so some of the pant wetting following yesterday is a bit much to be honest. You've got an up arrow from Frimmers, you might want to reflect on that.

Reflect on what? We were poor, if we can blow smoke up their arse when we are playing well why can’t we mention when poor?! Rough with the smooth and all that.

The fact you’ve looked to see who up/down votes posts… says a lot about someone that.

Imagine someone doesn’t agree with you. The rage.

No rage from me, just puzzled at how many fans are losing their heads over one defeat. Bunch of melts if you ask me.

He doesn't have to reflect on anything.

The up arrow is because it's nice to see someone on the forum act normal and not be afraid to actually call a spade a spade.

I get at a game or if you were around a player, you keep your cards to your chest to make sure you're given maximum support. But it's a forum.. it's ridiculous how fluffy people try to make it.

a niche perspective

West Brom are really good defensively... 2nd , only to Leicester for goals conceded..
The way we play has served us well this season. It wont win us every game.
I'm immensely proud of our team and club atm...
Ripping them apart after an away loss at West Brom, is such a sh1t take on everything that's happening at the club.
Some of the comments and self centered entitlement by some supporters, gets me irate, more than the 2-0 loss, or average display..
Short memories a lot of people.

I think what WBA did was a couple of levels above Birmingham and Rotherham - both of those games we had chances, scored goals and restricted them to not much.

Shiit goals conceded yesterday at bad times but ultimately we were just well beaten by good, strong Championship team away from home. That we’ve managed to get to the end of November before that has happened is the real takeaway for me (and one for which the coaching staff and players deserve tremendous credit). We have given ourselves an incredible platform to be in the automatic/play-off mix (and need some serious help in January if we want to be serious about either) but even the very best teams at this level will have hard days at places like the Hawthorns.

Agree with this. Yes, West Brom were good. Yes, not many teams will go to The Hawthorns and pick up points if they play like that more often that not. But we were very poor yesterday.

ETA - Having discussed this elsewhere very poor is unfair. We lacked a cutting edge in the first half but were in the game after a shaky start, and the second goal killed us after a bright start in the second half.

We also had two weeks to figure out they’re defensively perfect and we may need to adapt our game also.

Did we do a job on them too, then? I assume so given they would both have fancied themselves in a home game but failed to win after going ahead.

We were second best yesterday, but it seems that given our recent run, it has come as a shock to some that we lost and that perhaps we won't go through the rest of the season without losing!
I can tell you now. We will lose again before May.
However, that doesn't mean we need a new striker, it doesn't mean our preparation was wrong, it doesn't mean McKenna has lost the plot, it doesn't mean he picked the wrong players, and it doesn't mean we will lose all the rest of our games.
We all know this, don't we?
