The Big Moon, Pale Waves, Editors, Blossoms, Arcade Fire and Florence and the Machine are all better live for me.
Editors are superb live. I was lucky enough to be in San Francisco 10 years ago on a business trip when they were playing The Warfield, a lovely, old fashioned 2,000+ seat theatre, almost walking distance from my hotel.
Always thought Ride were a bit meh, but they are always great live.
Young Fathers are getting a lot of love post Mercury and could be dismissed as a bit of a band of the moment, but see them live and they are real deal.

Yes, I saw them at Irving Plaza in NY, about 07’/08’ I think. Thought I’d go along on the off chance for something to do to stop going into bars to early! Town connection in there, glad I did, it was great!

A very, very long time ago, but saw ZZ Top back in the 80's, not a band I was a fan of or even knew that well. Still class it as one of the best gigs I've ever seen.
No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Bit before my time but I did see one of Nicky Wymers's bands in a pub in Needham Market about twenty years ago. I gave them twenty minutes and went elsewhere I am afraid.
Saw them in Crystal Palace park last year and they were superb. Supported by the also superb Vaccines and Wombats - in fact Wombats probably had more energy than TDCC. Seen The Wombats twice and they were class both times.
Really keen to watch Maximo Park and Stereophonics.

Just noticed the Vaccines and Kooks are in town next Friday actually.
Pretty sure I saw the Wombats in Brixton about 12 years ago.
