It's a tricky one. I agree we need more pace and power in the side generally, and a bit more physical heft, but the way we play also relies on CMs with a low centre of gravity who can receive the ball in tight spaces and create themselves half a yard to either drive forward or move the ball on. There's not too many bigger lads that can do that, so we're probably going to have to tweak how we play slightly if we want to get more size and speed into the side. | |

Think people think way too narrowly when it comes to potential signings. Luongo couldn't get a game for Middlesborough and they let him go for free to join us, last season he was excellent in midfield for a side that stormed the Championship. It's about whether a player has the attributes that we need and whether McKenna feels they suit our system and he can improve them much more than it's about what they've done at their current club. | |

You can’t be using Forest’s strategy of signing a hundred individual players and selecting the 23 most expensive for their squad as a barometer for how good their squad players are.
It’s this thinking that has landed them in hot water.

Which exactly fits our Gamechanger-era transfer strategy. A mix of undervalued players from the same level or above, talent from lower divisions and a sprinkling of more expensive hirings with good experience or much promise. |  |
