We won, that's what football is about.

If Town win a game playing poorly I don't moan about it, I enjoy it.

Looking at clips of the fanzones round the country, many did, apparently.

Couldn't even muster a cheer here, rather weirdly didn't feel like a victory at all.

Whilst true. A club manager probably would have made more than 1 sub in 94 minutes.

It's not really about the game as a one off tho. It's the fact it was so bad after 3 bad games and he stuck with the same side that's played awful football.

I sorta enjoyed it. They played crap, but 96th minute equaliser and extra time winner sorta made it strangely all worthwhile

Has to improve in terms of speed in passing it and just taking a few more risks in attack but many teams, eg Italy, have staggered their way through competitions

Yeah I didn't enjoy that. If we get bolder and have more confidence in ourselves then today was an excellent result otherwise it's just a fluke. Shirley all our problems are mental.

I'd rather we'd played well & sailed through 2-0 without having to turn it around in ET after watching 92 mins of turgidity, tbh.

I enjoyed a few minutes of it to be fair.

4 games, 4 fairly poor performances, 3 draws at 90 minutes and not much created at all. It’s not working, it’s slow and cumbersome, predictable and unthreatening, and Southgate really needs to wake up to that. We need some natural width on the left who can beat a man on the outside, we need to move the ball a lot quicker and with more purpose, and get more runners in behind Kane.

Still, Kane is right that it’s a results business. We’re in the 1/4 final and have a game against Switzerland on Saturday for a place in the semis. Still all to play for but I really want to start seeing a lot more from England.

Yes and no. This was like Ipswich playing rank awful every game of an FA Cup run and being seconds from going out against Bristol Rovers. We would absolutely be saying not good enough but at least we are through. That's what is happening now.

What is incredible is that we must have plans for when losing and not playing well. How can that planning possibly be enforced sub with just over 20 to go and then another in the 84th minute. It's mental. We have 5 subs and we don't use them. Really makes you thankful for McKenna who has built into the whole mentality, multiple attacking changes which all the players know so they can work their energy accordingly.

Poll: Who do we think McKenna (not you) will partner Greaves with ?

S&P cut Britain's credit rating by two notches from 'AAA' to 'AA' after the 2016 Brexit referendum decision and warned of another possible downgrade following former Prime Minister Liz Truss's 'mini budget' huge tax cut programme announced in 2022.

Two downgrades under the Tories watch - do your homework…

May I remind people that fro Leif Davis goal until the final 15 minutes we were completely outclassed by Southampton, yet it's rightly up there as our favourite game of the season.

Where ever or whoever, the source of this information that a county can go 'bankrupt' that source isn't your friend. They are trying to scare and manipulate you into voting against your interests, successfully, if you are regurgitating that bollox.

The England performance isn't comparable at all with the Southampton match.

Was comparing the result, not the performance. England, as poor as they were, were the better team for the majority of this game whereas Ipswich were second best for most of the game against Southampton.

Yep, some people only care about the result. Ultimately that’s what it’s all about and that’s fine if that’s all some people want. Yet there’s also a reason people wax lyrical about Cruyff’s Netherlands or 1970s Brazil…and not Tony Pulis’ Stoke. Although the aim is to win at all costs, it’s still a spectator sport that needs to attract people to watch.
