I’d give the actual players we’ve brought in so far a 7.5/10. Really happy with every addition, all a good age to develop and ability wise improve us. We lose marks for lack of PL experience and personally feel we’ve overpaid a bit on Delap but time will tell.
Overall business wise I’d have to give us 4.5/10. We’ve clearly missed out on a number of key targets and haven’t brought in anyone in these positions (LW and CM) with only days until the first game. The protracted Szmodics deal also doesn’t feel great and in general I think we’ve not brought in nearly enough players to improve the squad especially in midfield and attack.

Getting almost a million for Ahadme is worth a couple of points alone.
Omari would have been a lot of people's dream, but possibly doable, signing at the start of this window. So that's an absolutely cracking bit of business as is Greaves.
Doesn't feel like things have quite gone our way since but we've made improvements to the starting 11 so I'll say 5.5/10 |  | | |

6/10 overall, 8/10 on incomings so far.
Hutchinson and Greaves are as good a signing as we are going to get considering the stature of the club. Always been a fan of Delap but we've likely overpaid there.
Muric is decent business, a better all round game than Vaz. Better long passer, not convinced yet he is better with his feet in close spaces.
Johnson a clever pick up (as would Alzate be if that happens) and Townsend is solid back up for Leif.
There is no doubt we are short, particularly in midfield. Ladapo & Harness were nowhere near the team for the last 10-12 games last season and yet they look like getting minutes v Liverpool.
For me atm, the first XI has been improved but the squad is currently weaker than it ended the previous season which is a worry. | | | |

In terms of rating the players we've got in themselves, then about a 6. In terms of the window as a whole, even a 5 feels generous. The defence is the only area we look better in that last season, we possibly have a slightly better GK, the midfield has seen no additions and the forward area looks very light, albeit compounded by injuries right now. |  |

Even the ones we’re linked to seem to be great championship players, excluding Phillips. Little prem experience has been brought in so far.
It’s been quite a bad window when you take the blue glasses off. I can’t remember a summer transfer window where I don’t even bother checking TWTD for days as literally nothing is happening. |  |

Even if Broady and Hirst weren’t injured it would have been a 5/10 rating. More of a 3/10 given they are injured and going to miss significant time.

Keeping Omari on a permanent deal was great. Shrewd additions signing Muric, Greaves and Johnson. I'm not sure Delap is worth the enormous fee we've paid but time will soon tell.
