We're not good enough.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

Maybe look at the variables before coming to your simplistic conclusion. We’ve been very hard done by bad refs and poor VAR decisions. Our same performances could easily have 10+ points by now with different refs and you’d probably be posting telling us we can finish the top half.

We can't keep blaming refs and VAR.

Variables like failing to beat 3 of our relegation rivals home or away?

Today, the ref was rigged for sure, but when we struggle even with the bottom clubs, have the lowest xG and inexplicably find a way to self-destruct every weekend either courtesy of either a Muric c0ck-up, defenders going to sleep or making a kamikaze pass or a red card then you can't blame the refs and VAR for our current predicament.

Look at how Southampton managed to sneak a goal at home and beat Everton while we made them look like some Prem masterclass 2 weeks ago at PR despite them being poor.

Stats don't lie.

Nonsense. Individual errors yes. I don't think you can blame VAR for much.

All teams get bad decisions. Some on here are so quick to feel hard done by. I'm not having it. I would say most other teams in this league see that game out unfortunately.

10 games is a good gauge, and it's not looking good.

Get a grip, we were far better than Leicester today until red card ... can easily survive this season with or without fans raising the white flag with only 10 games gone.

We were fortunate to get a draw against Southampton. We were bloody awful against Everton. But today, we played extremely well and were looking very comfortable until the referee cocked up twice in the same minute (the penalty and sending off).

Yes because Leicester are one of the poorer sides in this league. We should be on top at home to them.

We are over a 1/4 of the way through now. That's a decent gauge.

I'm not raising the white flag, but I'm also realistic.

"Easily survive this league". I hope so, but I think you're a little deluded.

(1) We have had a horrendous injury/sickness list

(2) The players haven't had time to get used to each other because we've been unable to field a settled side due to (1)

(3) Swap the ref & VAR officials round & I'm pretty sure that the results would have been the other way round today.

I’ve asked another poster this so I’ll ask you. Did you, assuming you saw the game, think the officials were consistent, even handed and fair?

Where from our remaining 28 Games do you see us getting the wins required?

Fans throwing in the towel now is extraordinary.

You buy a whole new set of players and expect them to gel instantly playing not just up a level but in the toughest league in the world ...

This team is getting better and better and those nip and tuck games will soon turn into victories ..

'easily survive'

We've played 10 games and have 5 points. One of the easiest games in this league was today and we drew.

We are already in a relegation battle. We can blame refs and var until the cows come home but the table decides our destiny.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Despite the horrendous injury list (+ a bit of sickness), therefore hamstrung (sorry) & unable to field a settled side, we're clearly improving & will probably sign reinforcements come January. A situation we've been in before ...

I wonder if the reduced numbers now are actually helping give us more togetherness and fight? - a smaller group, backs against the wall, bonding & united. Good lads👍👍

That table decides our destiny when the season ends, not 8 weeks before Christmas.

Just as a matter of interest then, before a ball was kicked how many wins and points overall did you expect from our first Ten games?

But why is that significant in a 38 game season?

It shows how you felt about our chances with 38 games as well as how you feel with now 28 games to go. So after 10 games how many points did you expect?

Agree. Albeit that table is based on 38 games, 10 of which have elapsed.

Point a game from here might get us home and hosed. Sounds easy but unlikely to get anything from the next 2 so need 4 points from Forest away and Palace home.

All teams are physical and talented. Reality of this league is pretty brutal.

And so would we have done with 11 and not 10 of that I have no doubt , Leicester were going nowhere before the sending off .

Noggin you have got a habit of having a painful tooth and not resisting the urge to stick your tongue in it and confirm yes it is painful. And hey everyone isnt this painful. You all have a go. See one, two, three jab that tongue in there.

But yes we cant seem to get a win over the line. And even when we play well fate seems to steal it away.

I refuse to get too upset about it though. We showed spirit today in a way that can still be enjoyed, even if we do end up going down. Leifs volley was van bastenesque.
